Frequently Asked WINZ Questions

How can I get a WINZ form?

WINZ forms are kept in the office. Once a booking has been processed online, admin staff will complete the Supervisor copy during admin hours 10am-1:45pm, Monday to Friday. Once the Supervisor form has been completed, you will be notified that the relevant WINZ documentation will be available for you to collect onsite and submit to WINZ.

What is the process for getting WINZ forms completed for term time bookings?

Once a term time booking has been processed online, an OSCAR declaration/OSCAR assistance form will need to be completed and submitted to WINZ. If applicable, WINZ will then decide on what the subsidy will be.

How much subsidy will I get?

This is assessed by WINZ on a case-by-case basis and is a question to ask WINZ directly. Please be aware that families who have applied for WINZ and are waiting for approval are required to pay their invoices off on time and in full. Should WINZ process any back payments that will result in a credit on the account, this will be credited towards the child's account.

Do I need to fill out a new WINZ form every term?

Yes. An OSCAR declaration needs to be completed each term, based on the bookings for your child in the system for that term.

What is the process for getting WINZ forms completed for Holiday Program bookings?

Once a booking has been processed online for the Holiday programme, an OSCAR declaration/OSCAR assistance form will need to be completed and submitted to WINZ. If applicable, WINZ will then decide on what the subsidy will be.

What is the process for payment of fees for Holiday Program bookings?

As per the terms & conditions, families who are applying for WINZ subsidies are required to pay their invoices in full prior to the start of the holiday programme. Once WINZ approves and pays a subsidy, if it results in any credit on the account this can be refunded back to you.

Do I get WINZ for teacher-only days and half-days?

If there is a teacher-only or early closure day, please confirm with the office if a booking is required. In this case, a change of circumstances form will need to be completed and submitted to WINZ. If applicable, WINZ will then decide on what the subsidy will be.

If I am applying for WINZ do I have to pay an upfront deposit?

As per the terms and conditions, all families enrolling their child are required to pay a $100.00 deposit, per child. The deposit will secure a child’s booking and be refunded when care is no longer required and all outstanding invoices are paid. Deposits should be referenced as "deposit" along with the child's name when making an online payment.
